One person was sent to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries after a rollover on a northwest Valley freeway, according to a fire official.
The accident occurred at about 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10 on eastbound Loop 303 near Lake Pleasant Parkway.
An Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesperson state a pickup truck rolled into the median of the freeway.
A Peoria Fire-Medical Department spokesperson stated three people were involved. Officials transported one person with serious injuries by ground to the hospital.
The other two sustained minor injuries and were evaluated at the scene before officials transported them.
The inside lane of traffic on eastbound Loop 303 is blocked.
A preliminary investigation revealed that tire failure may have been a contributing cause of the rollover, a DPS spokesperson said.
