Anthem

Posted
A tract of barren, desolate land was all but a pile of dirt and rocks surrounded by desert landscape with cacti and Palo Verde trees.
Then, developers had a vision for the land — 5,661 acres — just 20 some miles north from where Loop 101 sits in Phoenix today. In 1992, Del Webb purchased the property with intent on building a master-planned community.

In 1999, Del Webb founded the community of Anthem.

Over the years, Anthem has accumulated plenty of amenities with such attractions as a 10-acre park which includes two playgrounds, multi-use sports fields and a neighborhood walking trail to more than 30 neighborhood parks — which are maintained by the HOAs.
