Meet Linda
Linda McThrall joined Independent Newsmedia, Inc., USA, in 2023, after a long career as a reporter and editor in Fountain Hills and Oklahoma. Prior to that she had been working at the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum & Exploration Center. She loves working as a copy editor with INI and looks forward to continuing in that role.
Community: She served as executive director of a not-for-profit mental health education foundation for nearly 15 years.
Education: Arizona State University with a BS in Journalism and Mass Communications, with a minor in Home Economics.
Random Fact: She shot photos of Count Basie for an interview he did with a jazz publication. The interviewer, Mr. Basie and she were the only ones in the room. Mr. Basie complimented her on her professionalism.
Hobbies: Hiking, swimming, reading, cooking.
