It’s only January but early 2025 figures to be big for rock and roll legend — and Valley favorite — Alice Cooper.
He announced Thursday an upcoming fundraising weekend for his Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, which offer free after-school training in music, dance, art, and vocational programs for all teens between the ages of 12 and 20. The centers even provide practice instruments for those who don’t have their own.
With locations in Phoenix and Mesa, the newest site, The Rock Goodyear, will open to the public Wednesday, Feb. 12, with a grand opening celebration slated for April 26. The Goodyear location will be at 14455 W. Van Buren St., Building C, Suite 101, in the Southwest Valley.

Cooper will host Coopstock 2025: Alice Cooper's Rock & Roll Fundraising Bash from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Las Sendas Golf Club, 7555 E. Eagle Crest Drive, in Mesa. The event will feature live music from Cooper himself, fellow Valley resident and Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford, Solid Rock Teen performers, and other celebrities to be announced.
Tickets range from $69 to $500 and are available here.
That same weekend will feature Cooper’s 27th Annual Rock & Roll Golf Classic, which directly benefits the Solid Rock Teen Centers. Teeing off Saturday and Sunday, March 15 and 16, also at Las Sendas Golf Club, registration is $1,750 per player or $7,000 for a foursome.

Cooper is as busy as ever in 2025.
Last year he co-headlined a U.S. summer tour with Rob Zombie followed by a UK/European leg of his Too Close for Comfort Tour, which he wrapped in November.
Cooper, who turns 77 on Feb. 4, kicks off an eight-city run of dates on the U.S. southern East Coast with a Jan. 31 show in Augusta, Georgia. In addition to the winter trek, he will also play the 2025 Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio, in May.
The glam rock icon was born in Detroit before his family moved to Phoenix when he was a kid. He attended Cortez High School where he formed a band and was discovered in 1969 in Los Angeles by Frank Zappa, who signed them to his record label.
The “Eighteen” and “School's Out” anthems singer was elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.
