Surprise opens both city pools Saturday

Beat the summer heat, and stay cool in a city pool. The City of Surprise pools will open on Saturday, May 27 for summer open swim.

The Surprise Aquatic Center is located at 15831 N Bullard Ave. Weekend hours are noon to 5 p.m., including Memorial Day Monday, May 29.

Weekday open swim hours are Monday through Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. and Friday from noon to 4 p.m.

The Hollyhock Pool is located at 15808 N Hollyhock St. Weekend hours are noon to 4 p.m., including Memorial Day. Weekday open swim hours are Monday through Thursday from noon to 3 p.m.

Daily admission for Surprise residents is $1 per child (age 17 and under) and $2 per adult (must show residency); non-resident admission is $5 per person.

Children age 10 and under must be accompanied by a responsible person (age16 or older) at all times.

Pool passes are available for Surprise residents: individual passes are $20 for youth (age 17 and under) and $40 for adults (age 18 and older); family passes (2 adults and 3 children) are $80.
