Ruth, 105, resident Sun City West passed away in her sleep on August 23, 2023.
She is survived by her son David Pappas, also of Sun City West. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Christos Pappas in 2015.
Ruth was youngest of four children by Seth and Nellie Morton. Her brothers Nelson and Herbert and sister, Helen Simpson have preceded her in death. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Ardis Simpson Tucker, Fletcher Simpson, Fred Morton, Ray Morton, Mary Lou Morton Bates, John Morton, Carol Morton Ergott, Cheryl Morton Babcock, Edgar Morton, and Susan York Hines. Preceding her are Alfred Morton and Alice Morton.
Services for Ruth were held September 10, 2023, at Willowbrook United Methodist Church 19390 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, AZ.
