Posted

Glendale’s Office of Special Events and local businesses will hold a new event called SpringVenture in Historic Downtown Glendale from 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, April 1.

This free outdoor event will feature fun and activities for the whole family to celebrate the start of the spring season.

Attendees are invited to start their adventure at the Glendale Visitor Center information booth, located at 58th Drive and Palmaire Avenue, and receive a list of all the day’s activities throughout the downtown, which will include children’s games, arts and crafts, inflatables, chalk art, a DJ and much more. In addition, many of the businesses will have games on their lawns and sidewalks.

Mark the calendar to bring friends and family to a good ol’ fashioned block party experience. Free admission and free parking. For additional information, call 623-930-4500, or check out the city website at www.visitglendale.com.
