Adri Ann, birth name Adriana, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, in Sun City West, AZ at the age of 82 on November 10, 2020.
Adri is survived by her husband, Edward; her son, David Kaczmarek; her daughters, Denise Kaczmarek and Dianne (Tabb) Buel; and her granddaughters, Mackenzie Mattix and Delaney Mattix.
Adri was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Dorothy Budnik and her infant brother, Kenneth Budnik.
Adri was born on May 14, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1956. She worked and raised her family while continuing her education, non-traditionally, attending night school for 12 years. Adri graduated from Marquette University with an Electrical Engineering degree and a Computer Science degree in 1984. Adri was an integral part of developing the first MRI technology.
Adri married Edward Kaczmarek on November 8, 1958 and they just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Adri retired at an early age and loved to travel, quilt, weave, make jewelry, and play cards with her girlfriends.
Adri’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and granddaughters and having “all of her birds back in the nest.”
Private services will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
